Exquisite Fishing Ocean Progression Guide
A compact roadmap through all four documented ocean biomes.
Exquisite Fishing’s store page promises multiple sea biomes and progressively deeper exploration. A community-authored guide identifies four named areas in a fixed order.
Ocean Overview
| Order | Ocean | Access cost | Boat | Deepest documented target |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Calm Ocean | 0g | Starting boat | 300m |
| 2 | Rocky Ocean | 1500g | Regular boat | 600m |
| 3 | Turbulent Ocean | 5000g | Reinforced boat | 1000m |
| 4 | Dark Ocean | 8000g | Golden Boat | 2000m |
These values come from a third-party guide and should be treated as version-specific rather than official developer data.
Calm Ocean
Calm Ocean introduces the core mechanics with three documented encounters between 50m and 300m. Use it to build currency and learn how depth, hooks, and items combine.
Rocky Ocean
Rocky Ocean extends the range to 600m and introduces more varied hook requirements. It is the first paid ocean in the documented sequence.
Turbulent Ocean
Turbulent Ocean requires a reinforced boat and reaches 1000m. Its later targets use stronger hooks and more demanding item combinations.
Dark Ocean
Dark Ocean is the late-game area, requiring the Golden Boat and reaching 2000m. Player reports note that retrieval from deep water can become slow, so plan runs around specific targets rather than descending without a purpose.
Efficient Route Planning
- Choose one target in your current ocean.
- Confirm its depth, hook, and item requirements.
- Buy only the missing requirement.
- Sell ordinary catches until you can afford the next boat.
- Move to the next ocean when your current area no longer offers an efficient upgrade path.
